Daniel is our General Manager for both of our Pasadena Locations. He started in Patient Services over 16 years ago and made his way up to managing two locations. He became ABO Certified in 2005 & is maintaining/continuing his education requirements. Daniel plans to become a Regional Manager with Texas State Optical one day! Continual growth in the Optometry Field & his co-workers makes his job worth being a part of the team. With their growing knowledge & good service he feels that makes their patients happy & provided with the best care! Daniel creates leadership, team building & a fun atmosphere. His proudest accomplishments personally & career wise exceed multitudes. Outside of the office, his interests are in music, art, fashion, live shows, going to the movies, DJing & reading fashion books! While his favorite past time is spending time with his friends and family & meeting his best friend. Daniel's favorite quote is said by the one and only Andy Warhol.

Cynthia has over 30 years Optical experience and has been a part of the TSO team for over 10 years. She is ready to assist you with any of your Optical needs. Cynthia completed 2 years of Office Administration from Lamar University. She is at the end of her career but plans to leave everyone with as much of her knowledge as possible. The challenge of making our patients look fabulous is something she very much enjoys! Cynthia brings knowledge, comradery & laughter to the team. Outside of work, she is an avid Tennis fan that loves to watch matches especially if they involve Serena Williams. She also enjoys football & basketball very much. Swimming at the park is something she would love to do on a daily basis. Cynthia's proudest accomplishment would have to be raising her two beautiful daughters as a single mother!
Gio has been our Front Desk Associate for over a year now and has won the hearts of many patients with his kindness and positive personality. He has not pursued a credited higher education but he has definitely pursued education in his field of choice! Gio's career plans and goals include making a living from Music Production, Performance & Distribution alone & to share the fruits of his labor with his family and the less fortunate! The atmosphere is what he loves best about his job. Everyone he works with, he views as great people who are very skilled! Gio has a great time being around and interacting with his co-workers. He is a great contribution to the positive atmosphere that our patients enter into. His life outside of the office is strictly music producing, practicing and performing. He is a very dedicated individual in everything that he does, especially his music. He rarely has spare time but when he does, he likes to go out into nature and exercise! An interesting fact about Gio is that he performed at Houston's biggest music festival, 'Free Press Summer Fest' 2015 and won the Houston Press Music Awards 'Best Dance Act 2015'. This is obviously one of his proudest accomplishment but to add to it, he is very proud to have traveled around the country performing his original music. One of Gio's favorite childhood memories would be when he imagined that he had his own Music TV show along with his cousins. Cynthia Beckett CB1 has given Gio his favorite quote... Patty is our Optometric Assistant. She has over 6 years of Ophthalmology Assistant experience and has been with our team for over 6 months now. She went to school for a Medical Assistant and did her internship at Ophthalmic Consultants of Texas where she was offered a job and stayed with that company for 6 1/2 years. While working at that facility, she worked alongside the O.D. and Retina Specialist. She hopes one day to get her Certification for C.O.A and return back to Ophthalmology. What Patty enjoys most about her job is knowing that her previous and present work skills can help improve the vision of their patients today. Patty & her co-workers provide awesome team work! She is able to give more detailed exams; Medical, routine, Cataract post-op, etc. One of Patty's proudest accomplishments would be when the Doctor as well as she were treating a patient with a retinal detachment, glaucoma, who only could see hand motion & only knew her voice. She won't forget the day this patient had surgery, removing the bandages from her eyes and the patient crying because she was able to see Patty's face. This was a day to remember and a day to never forget. In her spare time, Patty loves to spend time with her family & her grandson Grayson. She absolutely enjoys her church days on Sunday's. Some of her other interests and hobbies outside of the office include, going shopping, listening to music and going to the movies with her family. One of her favorite childhood memories would be when Saturday's would roll around, she spent those days at her grandmothers. “You’re either going to sink or swim.” would have to be her all-time favorite quote.
Jared has been with the TSO family for over a year, but don't let the lack of time that he's been with us discourage you. He has been in the Customer Service Field for over five years and he has become our Star Pupil Optician. After High School Jared attended college for 3 years for Liberal Arts. Jared hopes to become an Entertainer in the Music Business one day. One of his favorite things about his job is interacting with the patients. He thoroughly enjoys when patients enjoy HIS service and work stat. He helps with patients in any way possible, as well as gives the office a lighter atmosphere. They work hard and play hard! One of his proudest accomplishments would have to be moving 1,000 miles away from home (Pennsylvania) to Houston to pursue his happiness. Jared is a lyricist here in Texas chasing his dream! His interests outside of work are basketball, traveling and most importantly music. Poetry is something Jared enjoys writing in his spare time as well as creating music alone and with his peers. One of his favorite pastimes/proudest moments would be when he made his High School Basketball Team! Bob Marley holds the key to Jared's all-time favorite quote!

Aracely has been with the TSO family since 2011. A very skilled, patient and friendly Optician, who loves to take care of her patient's needs. After High School, Aracely went to school for Medical Billing & Coding. Her career plans & goals are to attend school again! What she loves most about her job is knowing that her Optician skills will give her patients a better view in life with their new glasses. She contributes in helping out the General Manager by picking out new Frame Style's & keeping those boards stocked! Her proudest accomplishment would have to be everything she has achieved in life thus far! Outside of the office, she enjoys going to the movies, kayaking with friends and family & to spend time with her husband. Aracely will never forget getting chased by dogs and climbing up the trees as a child with her cousins; one of her favorite childhood memories. Stephanie is our newest member of the team! She has over 5 years of Optical experience and she enjoys Frame Styling patients. There is a lot Stephanie plans & hopes to achieve. Her career goals are to go back to school to become an Art Teacher. Getting the opportunity to help people see the better things in life with their new specs is Stephanie's favorite part of her job. She loves to help patients select the best eyewear. Her proudest accomplishment would be giving the Optical Field a chance! She started off working for the Wal*Mart Vision Center in search of a part-time job; over 5 years later, she is one of our greatest assists to the Texas State Optical team! Her interests and hobbies outside of the office are spending time with her family, drinking coffee with a good book & watching LOTS of movies...., she loves Sundance movies! One of her favorite pastimes includes being on the hunt for the best cup of coffee in Houston. Frida Kahlo, best known for her self-portraits holds a quote that is very relatable to Stephanie.

Rome is an ABO Certified Optician and Lab Tech with over 15 years in the Optical Field and is ready to assist you. His skills in this field are up there with his great personality and excellent service record! His goal is to help the less fortunate with their eyewear needs. What he enjoys most about his job is being around all his co-workers and all of their patients! He is very handy when it comes to cutting lenses, doing repairs, adjustments and ordering jobs. Rome also helps assist in training of new employees. His years of service has given him wisdom that has helped the store & his immediate co-workers genuinely appreciate him for that. With all that being said, this is one of Rome's proudest accomplishments. His interest outside of the office are working with the Boys Youth Group and his Church. His hobbies include, watching Houston Sports Teams, playing games on his PlayStation & reading a good Comic book. His favorite childhood memory/pastime would have to be due to his December 24th birthday! Being that Christmas comes the following day, that was always a special 48 hours for him. A very interesting fact about Rome is that he is a 20 year cancer survivor! His favorite quote now follows.
