Daniel is our General Manager for both of our Pasadena Locations. He started in Patient Services over 16 years ago and worked his way up to Management. He became ABO Certified in 2005 and is maintaining/continuing his educational requirements. Daniel plans to become a Regional Manager with Texas State Optical one day! Continual growth in the Optometry Field and his co-workers make his job worth being a part of. "Our patients are happy and provided with the best care due to our advanced training and upmost service." says Daniel. He creates leadership, team building and a fun atmosphere. Outside of the office, his interests are: music, art, fashion, live shows, going to the movies, DJing and reading fashion books! While his favorite past time of all is spending time with his friends and family. Daniel's favorite quote is said by the one and only Andy Warhol.

Cynthia has over 30 years Optical experience and has been a part of the TSO team for over 10 years. She is ready to assist you with any of your Optical needs. Cynthia completed 2 years of Office Administration from Lamar University. She is at the end of her career but plans to leave everyone with as much of her knowledge as possible. The challenge of making our patients look fabulous is something she very much enjoys! Cynthia brings knowledge, comradery and laughter to the team. Outside of work, she is an avid Tennis fan that loves to watch matches especially if they involve Serena Williams. She also enjoys football & basketball very much. Swimming at the park is something she would love to do on a daily basis. Cynthia's proudest accomplishment is raising her two beautiful daughters as a single mother!
Patty is our Optometric Assistant. She has over 6 years of Ophthalmology Assistant experience and has been with our team for over 6 months now. She went to school for a Medical Assistant and did her internship at Ophthalmic Consultants of Texas where she was offered a job and stayed with that company for 6 1/2 years. While working at that office, she worked alongside the O.D. and Retina Specialist. She hopes one day to get her Certification for C.O.A and return back to Ophthalmology. What Patty enjoys most about her job is knowing that her previous and present work skills can help improve the vision of their patients today. Patty and her co-workers provide awesome team work! She is able to give more detailed exams; Medical, routine, Cataract post-op, etc. One of Patty's proudest accomplishments is when the Doctor as well as she were treating a patient with a retinal detachment, glaucoma, who only could see hand motion and only knew her voice. She won't forget the day this patient had surgery, removing the bandages from her eyes and the patient crying because she was able to see Patty's face. This was a day to remember and a day to never forget. In her spare time, Patty loves to spend time with her family and her grandson Grayson. She absolutely enjoys Church on Sunday's. Some of her other interests and hobbies outside of the office include: going shopping, listening to music and going to the movies with her family. One of her favorite childhood memories is when Saturday's would roll around; she spent those days at her grandmothers. “You’re either going to sink or swim.” would have to be her all-time favorite quote.
Erica is a new member of the TSO Spencer family and is very skilled in the Eye Care Field. Erica graduated in 2013 with an Associate's Degree in Eye Care and Applied Science from San Jacinto College. She hopes to become an Ophthalmic Technician and she plans to work towards her ABO/NCLE Certification. Erica enjoys being able to help patients and see their reactions to how much more vivid the world can be. Aside from doing preliminary testing, Erica also enjoys helping patients select glasses. One of her happiest achievements is finishing school! Outside of the office, she likes to: listen to music, watch movies with her friends and family, relax, play games and do arts and crafts. Author, poet and Civil Rights Activist, Maya Angelou said something that is very influential to Erica:

Liz is our newest addition here at Spencer Texas State Optical. She is currently attending San Jacinto College. Her career plans are to transfer from San Jacinto College to the University of Houston in order to obtain her Bachelors in Political Science. Liz is a great contributor to her team and provides excellent customer service to everyone who walks through their door. She thoroughly enjoys helping all of her patients. Outside of work, Liz likes to read and go shopping at bookstores. Her favorite childhood memory is when her father taught her how to ride her bike. Liz’s favorite quote comes from the one and only John F. Kennedy:

Jared has been with the TSO family for over a year, but don't let the lack of time that he's been with us discourage you. He has been in the Customer Service Field for over five years and he has become our Star Pupil Optician. After High School Jared attended college for 3 years for Liberal Arts. Jared hopes to become an Entertainer in the Music Business one day. One of his favorite things about his job is interacting with the patients. He thoroughly enjoys when patients enjoy HIS service and work stat. He helps with patients in any way possible, as well as gives the office a lighter atmosphere. They work hard and play hard! One of his proudest accomplishments is moving 1,000 miles away from home (Pennsylvania) to Houston to pursue his happiness. Jared is a lyricist here in Texas chasing his dream! His interests outside of work are: basketball, traveling and most importantly music. Poetry is something Jared enjoys writing in his spare time as well as creating music alone and with his peers. One of his favorite pastimes/proudest moments is when he made his High School Basketball Team! Bob Marley holds the key to Jared's all-time favorite quote:

Aracely has been with the TSO family since 2011. A very skilled, patient and friendly Optician, who loves to take care of her patient's needs. After High School, Aracely went to school for Medical Billing and Coding. Her career plans and goals are to attend school again! What she loves most about her job is knowing that her Optician skills will give her patients a better view in life with their new glasses. She contributes in helping out the General Manager by picking out new Frame Style's and keeping those boards stocked! Outside of the office, she enjoys: going to the movies, kayaking with friends and family and to spend time with her husband. Aracely will never forget, getting chased by dogs and climbing up the trees as a child with her cousins; one of her favorite childhood memories. "Whether you think you can, or you think you can't, you're right." was spoken by a Henry Ford, which happens to be Aracely's favorite quote!
Jerome is an ABO Certified Optician and Lab Tech with over 15 years in the Optical Field and is ready to assist you. His skills in this field are up there with his great personality and excellent service record! His goal in life is to help the less fortunate. What he enjoys most about his job is being around all his co-workers and all of their patients! He is very handy when it comes to cutting lenses, doing repairs, adjustments and ordering jobs. Jerome also helps assist in training of new employees. His years of service has given him wisdom that has helped the store and his immediate co-workers genuinely appreciate him for that. With all that being said, this is one of Jerome's proudest accomplishments. His interest outside of the office are working with the Boys Youth Group and his Church. His hobbies include: watching Houston Sports Teams, playing games on his PlayStation and reading a good Comic book. His favorite childhood memory/pastime is due to his December 24th birthday! Being that Christmas comes the following day, that was always a special 48 hours for him. A very interesting fact about Jerome is that he is a 20 year cancer survivor! His favorite quote now follows:
